Commercial and Construction Surety Bonds  
COURT BONDS FIDUCIARY BONDS
Appeal:   May be required wherever a judgment has been rendered and the appellant desires to appeal to a higher court. Bonds for Descendants Estates:   Including Administrators/Executors/Personal Representative (Required in a Probate or Surrogate Court)
Attachment:  An attachment is allowed on statutory grounds. The bond is required to indemnify the defendant against loss or damage in case it is finally decided that grounds did not exist. Bonds for Estates of Minors:  Including Guardian/General Guardian/Guardian Ad Litem/Special or Temporary Guardian/Guardian on Sale of Real Estate
Certiorari:  A Writ of Certiorari is issued from a superior court to an inferior jurisdiction commanding the latter to return to the former the record in a case to enable the appellate court to determine whether there has been an irregularity in the proceedings. The bond so for the payment of the costs in the appellate court.  Bonds in Trust Estates:  Including Trustee under a Will/Trustee under a Deed.
Costs:  Conditioned for the payment of the costs, such as fees, the court clerk, sheriff and the like. Bonds in Estate of Incompetents:   Include Committee/Conservator/Curator/Guardian
Counter Replevin:  When property has been replevied, the defendant may, by furnishing a bond, regain possession of property. Bonds in Equity Court (State Court):  Includes Receivers, Trustees or Others appointed by the court to manage property or a business/ Assignees, Liquidators, Trustees or Others appointed for benefit of creditors by an insolvent debtor.
Indemnity to Sheriff or Marshal:   Indemnifies the Sheriff or Marshal from liability for loss or damage to third parties through acts which turn out to be wrongful. Bonds in Bankruptcy (Federal Court):  Includes Trustees, Receivers, Ancillary Receivers in Chapter 11, Chapter 12 or Chapter 13
Refunding:  This term is applicable to any bond conditioned for the return of money which principal was allowed to charge and retain pending final decision.  
Removal:  Where a case originally brought in a State Court is removed to the Federal Court, the defendant is required to give bond for the payment of costs if the case is found to have been improperly removed.
Replevin:  In an action to recover possession of specific articles of personal property, a bond is required in the event it is determined that the property should not have been repossessed.
Sequestration:  Same as Attachment
